i got an e-mail from the president's leadership program i'm in for CNU. i get the opportunity to move in a day early, august 16, if i volunteer to put in 4-5 hours of helping on the main move in day, the 17th. my dad's all excited. we're doing it.

i don't get a choice.

i don't want to do it, and i'm not given a choice. i'm moving off to college - and i can't chose? my parents still control that much of me? that's just sad.

so sad i'm about to cry.

i will be there to come see you as soon as that first weekend comes. i cannot wait to for this for you. you are going to do something truly amazing. im just so glad that i get to be part of it because i will be with you. you are the most amazing girl that i have ever met and i know that you are going to do something truly special

have you told them how much you don't want to do it? told them that you want that extra day to say goodbye? or will they just not listen?
